Stalling....

I have been stalling for a while, I really need to stitch on this, The Isle of Sark. I really do not like stitching on these type of designs, if it were mine it would've been in the bin a long time ago, but it's my MIL's she bought and asked me to stitch it. Over a year ago :0P.

So I am gonna try and do a weekly slot, and you are allowed to shout at me if I don't as I need all the encouragement I can get (LOL)

The only other thing I have touched at the moment is the Winter Mandala, I will update on that another time.
I hope you are all well sending you Hugs if you need them.

I know what you mean about stitching for someone else, its not so enjoyable.

Come on over to the UFO, the girls will give you plenty of encouragement there, rules have changed and you have a week to stitch now instead of that same night, all you have to do is post a pic sometime during that week of your progress

I've got a project like that and felt exactly the same way about the Lancaster Bomber my Mum asked me to do for her.

You can do it, just an hour a week will get it done

I would hate stitching on something I didn't like too and wasn't mine!!! Keep at it though. You'll soon have it done.

I get you! I don't like those sort of designs either. Very bitty. Hope you make lots of progress on it soon. Perhaps it won't take as long as you think. x

I know what you mean, it's not the same stitching on something you haven't chosen, it can feel like a chore instead of a pleasure. But you can do it. Just think about how pleased MIL will be when it's finished.

I agree with you on stitching things you don't enjoy but you can do it! You've got quite a bit done. I'll be part of your cheerleading squad ;o)
