Pom poms and Kevin

I finished my scarf, My first ever completed knitted item ( apart from some mittens I knitted with help when I was 18) I undid it and re-started it though, as it was too wide. But it is just right now.
And typically it is now getting warmer, we have had sunshine here!!

Gosh isn't 2010 going quickly, well it seems to be for me,

My Mum is now in her Bungalow, it took a month for my sister and her partner and myself to paint, paper and DH to carpet and I even took some curtains up for her so they fit. And we moved her in about a week ago, I think she finally realises it was for her own good, she had her doubts about moving because she was in her house for over 30 years. But she no longer has to struggle with the stairs.

Now I feel a bit lost from being busy to not much too do, we still have to decorate here, still waiting for the plasterer to get back to us to do our ceiling, I think we will look round for another plasterer. Then I can get my house in some sort of order it feels like a right tip....probably because it is. LOL

I need to get some stitching done, only been stitching on a model I am stitching, nothing else * sigh*

I will have to fish some thing out of the trunk.

Oh did I tell you I will soon have a teenager in the house Reece will be 13 in April although it already feels like I have a Kevin in the house....Help!!

Happy Mother's Day to all Mum's all over the world!!

Cruel and cool!!

Here is Tango with the Cone of shame on, doesn't look happy at all does he.

He had a puncture wound on his paw, which had swelled up. The vet made an incision to get rid of the gunk, and we are to bathe his paw twice a day (which is an ordeal) and a tablet twice a day that is easy just put it in his meat.

He is sulking and trying to get the collar off!!

So an inexpensive trip to the vet this time!!

Well this is how this pair went to school today, it is their School's 70th birthday, so the kids and teachers are dressing up, as some one from either the 40's,50's,60's,70's,80's,90's era.

Jack is a biker dude whilst Lucy is a Rock 'n' Roll chick ( Lucy does have a cardi to wear,if it's cold)

I undid the scarf as I had made it too wide anyway so I will try again when I get the urge!

Not been online much at the moment, apart from on facebook ;0)
I have been busy knitting myself a scarf though. Although I may of done it wrong, I have used that Pom pom wool, only it said to do two stitches between each pom and I have been told that may be wrong. So I am wondering if to undo it and start again.

Colour looks washed out in this photo, but you get the idea.

Got a poorly cat again this time Tango, he is limping! we have kept him in as he loves to climb and it is not doing his leg any good jumping off things. But it seems to be getting worse so we have an appointment tomorrow night at the vets. Fingers crossed it's not too bad. Bella has somehow snapped her collar the little minx. So will have to get another one of those as well.
