Hardanger Santa
I have finished this Hardanger Santa I was stitching for Col's Creations, he nearly didn't get finished as I was struggling with the doves eyes, and I gave it back to Colly, but I decided to give him another go and he was finished last night.
Colly has said I can show you as she is having trouble find the heads and hands here in the UK, so he may be released next year. So if anyone knows where they can be purchased in bulk I am sure Colly would be most grateful they have to be the porcelain not plastic.
He isn't actually finished properly I just put some pins in to see what he would look like all together, I need to get some pipe cleaners so I can put his hands on,padding and cover the cone in fabric.
Isn't he fabulous. Colly also did him white on white which is stunning, oh what about white thread on red fabric the possibilities are endless, you could even get Angel/Fairy head and hands and make one for your christmas tree. keep a look out next year!
Thanks for looking

I have a finish
I started this when I got the JCS ornie mag, it was one that jumped out at me.
But with losing my stitchy bug it has been put aside.
I just have to show you these pics of Tango, here he is in my chair playing with the baubles on the tree whilst relaxing...LOL
and this one is in the tree in our garden, the cats have found an empty nest and keep climbing up to sit in it, but watching the cats get down the tree is hilarious, Tango seems to tumble down!

The finishing on the Bluetit is not brilliant, but it is for myself so I don't mind.
I just love the button for his nose
I have rescued the other one I did for a friend, I am hoping you can't tell!Just got to send it now and hope it gets there in time.

Damn machinery!!
Having issues with my sewing machine at the moment, I was making a gift for a friend when it decided to chew it up a little, so I need to stitch something else.
I have got in to the the festive stitchy bug, typical I had planned on stitching an ornament a month but that fell by the wayside as well as stitching on other things, I did quite well on Beatrix Potter SAL only missed two months.
Well only 11 days to go, I am looking forward to this christmas, not sure why, I just am!
The kids have one week left at school and then they break up, DH finishes on the 18th as well.
Hopefully I will have some piccy's to show soon
Thanks for stopping by
Hugs

Just got this in an email and had to share!
Why Parents Drink
The boss wondered why one of his most valued employees was absent but had not phoned in sick one day. Needing to have an urgent problem with one of the main computers resolved, he dialed the employee's home phone number and was greeted with a child's whisper. ' Hello ? '
'Is your daddy home?' he asked.
' Yes ,' whispered the small voice.
May I talk with him?'
The child whispered, ' No .'
Surprised and wanting to talk with an adult, the boss asked, 'Is your Mummy there?'
' Yes '
'May I talk with her?' Again the small voice whispered, ' No '
Hoping there was somebody with whom he could leave a message, the boss asked, 'Is anybody else there?'
' Yes , ' whispered the child, ' a policeman . '
Wondering what a cop would be doing at his employee's home, the boss asked, 'May I speak with the policeman?'
' No, he's busy , ' whispered the child.
'Busy doing what?'
' Talking to Daddy and Mummy and the Fireman , ' came the whispered answer.
Growing more worried as he heard a loud noise in the background through the ear piece on the phone, the boss asked, 'What is that noise?'
' A helicopter ' answered the whispering voice.
'What is going on there?' demanded the boss, now truly apprehensive. Again, whispering, the child answered,
' The search team just landed a helicopter '
Alarmed, concerned and a little frustrated the boss asked, 'What are they searching for?'
Still whispering, the young voice replied with a muffled giggle...
' ME . '
