May 20th part two

Sorry this mornings post was a quicky as I was going to the Scout Hut craft day.
Thank you to all who have wished me a Happy Birthday here or somewhere else. (hugs)

My Blogoversary is tomorrow but what is in a day! I think it is five years this year that I have been blogging!

Some more cards these are from NH Thread Birthday exchange
and a few more at SHCrafters

Look what a friend of mine made me,
I admired hers that she made for herself, it's for my cutting mat and ruler! Love it!!

I had a lovely day even managed a little stitching and did some more on the hexagon blanket.
And then Lucy and Myself and some friends went for a meal which was lovely!

July Cottage

The photo of the Cottage for July is out see here.

Now is it wrong to totally change a design, is it a breach of copyright?
I will not be stitching this as it is, as I am English and proud of it. And there is nothing wrong with People celebrating their national holidays, but it is not me. I hope that doesn't make me sound bad, it was the same for March I am not Irish so changed that one!

I am probably gonna be told off here, but why are American proud to celebrate St Patrick's day, but not St George's day, or St Andrew's or St David's day when they are more likely descendant from those nationalities as well. I do hope someone from abroad could let me know so i am not so ignorant of why this is?

I did ask if they would maybe do an alternate design for those of us who are not American or into Americana stuff. But I didn't see a reply unless I missed it.

Umm I may just leave that one until I decide as I would like to change that to a English summer theme, I will do the same for the November one.
what do you think?
