What started as a place to record my Cross stitching is mostly Crochet but occasionally a bit of stitching.

My version of the wooly bowl and a question.
I decided I wanted to make a little pot with a lid, and I had some left over to make a low sided bowl/tray.
Here are my attempts
Now for the question
Does anyone know how I makes the sides on this to make it into a bag, I was originally making a granny square, but added another cluster by mistake, but liked the shape. But I want to do sides up but I am not sure on how to go about it!
I want to make a bag for my wool.

So the two smaller ones fit together.
Bright aren't they LOL!!
Here is the link to the lady I bought them from at the show. Now for the question

Cat Quilt
Some of you already know that the lovely ladies on A Crafty Natter make Charity quilts, some of us stitch some squares for the quilt, whilst Colly makes the wonderful quilts. The latest one is for the Raffle in September at The Derby Adoption Centre of Cats Protection.
It is not finished yet, but I was eager to share these Photos that Colly has shared with me.
My stitched square is the one is the middle

Look I have received a parcel from Michelle in New Zealand, some more lovely fabric and some Postcards. Thank you Michelle!!!
I also received a Postcard from Cathey the other day!
Cathey took the photo herself!
Ooo I do love postcards!!
I think next time I make some postcards I am going to some with the pics of some finsihed stitching of mine.
I have been plodding on with the hexie quilt, it may seem like I have gone quiet on it, but I am still hand piecing them at the moment. Will share an update photo soon.
I have been stitching!!! SHOCK I know!! lol
But I saw Maddison stitching on her tribal butterfly at the Crop the other weekend, and Colly has bought the chart and started hers, I did get mine out but I remember why I haven't finished it, I had run out of the colour I was using, So I looked in my stash and I am restarting it.
So the top butterfly is my restart, and the one below is the original one.
I have been itching to do some stitching on one of my others but with the bit of heat we are having at the moment has put paid to that!!
Thank you for stopping by, I am hoping to catch up with blogs soon!
