I just had to!!

Seeing all those cottages in blogs all over, I just had to! they screamed at me...honestly they did!!
The CCN Monthly cottages January and February, not seen the March one for sale yet.

Not sure if you can see the white on white, but I couldn't wait to dye my fabric so I just started.

But I am not sure about the size as these are stitching up quite big, I am thinking 1/1 instead of 2/2.

I have left the needle in the top one so you can see how big it is.

I don't know as I wanted to stitch them on the same piece of fabric , I don't think it will be big enough, and my brain doesn't want to try and work it out yet, maybe in the morning!! lol

No colour as I haven't got all the colours, waiting for my delivery from Sew and so.

Are you stitching these? what count are you using?

I am also stitching for an exchange so I cannot share that yet,at least until the end of March !! eeek!!

I have started attending Zumba, so hopefully I can get rid of some more weight this year!

My foster cat is doing better now settling in a little, it is going to be hard when it is time to say bye !!

1st IHSW

Well my first weekend of IHSW didn't quite go as planned , as I got my first foster cat on Saturday,so was busy settling him in. Sunday I went to spend the day with some friends at the Scout Hut, but not that much was done by me, for some reason I just couldn't settle to one thing for long!
But anyway here is what I did manage!

This is out of JCS Ornament preview 2010, by Deborah Thorpe of Midsummer Nights designs
Called I love Reindeer......?? yes it is called that, he he!
 I just decided I liked it better without the reindeer on it!

IHSW

First one I have taken part in and first one of 2012. So hopefully Monday I will have lots to show you.

Although no stitching done today as I have got my first foster cat today, and he needs a little coaxing poor chap has been through a rough week!

Christmas already!!

I have been pondering what to do to raise funds for the Cats Protection this year, 2011 was the Cats Quilt with the help of some lovely people.

Well this year I am hoping to stitch and make lots of Christmas ornie's to sell at the Christmas fete they have every year. This year it is on Sunday 25th November.
 So far I have stitched two, I am going to try to manage enough a month to see if I can do enough for a stall. If anyone wants to donate a ornie you are more than welcome!! lol

They won't all be cat related, but I have wanted to stitch these for ages.

If I manage it I think I will do a tombola rather than sell them, at 50p a ticket.

been naughty, I went and had a look at the Sew and So sale!!
Only a couple of items fell in the basket, but had to get this I saw on two blogs recently.
I have no idea what a hornbook is used for, but if you know please let me know. I know I could google but I like hearing other people's knowledge.
I just thought it was so cute I had to get one!

Okay I just had to stitch the initial!! lol




Did I share that Hubby bought me a Ott-lite tulip lamp from Costco just after Christmas, Well it is brilliant and so bright I can see to stitch in the evenings again and Only £14.99!!!

I have finished the second sampler for my sister, I just need to get a frame and iron and frame it. And then it is all ready to give to her!
