IHSW

This weekend is April's IHSW and I am looking forward to it as myself and Lucy are in Nuneaton for the Needlecraft haven Meetup, staying over in Nuneaton and travelling to Melton Mowbray to the Scout Hut Crafters meet up or if you are on facebook see here.  I really do enjoy these meet ups and seeing what everyone is up to.
So the only excuse I can possibly have is that I was talking too much LOL

Crafty Weekend

Well it was a foggy start to the weekend, especially as I was travelling to Melton Mowbray for the Scout Hut Crafters weekend.
Saturday was a quiet day as many had previous engagements. Well I say quiet, it did get a little rowdy when some ladies were nearly wetting themselves with laughter!

See the man in the background, well they were being rude concerning his drill!

I got this JBW design done, woo hoo I stitched!!
It is a gift for someone, I shouldn't show it but they won't know until they receive it!

***
Sunday was a bit busier

***
I have started to put together my Hexagons, this is my first group of seven!

***
We did a friendship exchange and this is what I received from sue, A gorgeous beaded fob on scissors and some fabrics for my friendship quilt!

This is what I stitched for Sandra, Amitie Broderie Couture.
And made into a Bits n Bobs tray, there were some more goodies but I forgot to take a pic!

***
Polly gave me another bit of fabric for it the Friendship quilt

And Lyn gave me three to choose from and I had to chose the cats now didn't I!
I have also had some from Maddison, I forgot to take a pic.
***
Here is what i got in the Raffle, some Body shop Vanilla Fragrance Oil

***
And look I made a beaded bracelet, the lovely bead ladies did a tutorial, I am quite proud of it!!

Lorna cooked some lovely food, she does for the weekend ones!

IHSWeekend

This weekend's progress
This is my version of Lucy's Flower
I think the stem on mine is too chunky but I like it!

***

Here is the March Cottage finished, I have omitted some parts of the design to suit me.
Yay!!

***
And I have finished off two small blankets, by tidying the ends in, these will be used in the Cat Cabin.

***
I have also had another finish this design is called Sew Red from iStitch designs
Yay!!
I used some thread I bought from the Quilt show last year.

***
And Sunday was the Scout Hut Nutters Crafters group again, Which I managed to get all this done whilst here(well most of it) That is me right on the end, my Daughter is the one taking the photo otherwise she would be in it as well.

I do love attending these days!

Lorna and Jo from my last post are in the line up!!

Next month it is over two days. And I am aiming to go both days, it is 30 mins drive away from me.
Some ladies are local some travel more than me, so I can't complain.

Thank you for visiting!

1st IHSW

Well my first weekend of IHSW didn't quite go as planned , as I got my first foster cat on Saturday,so was busy settling him in. Sunday I went to spend the day with some friends at the Scout Hut, but not that much was done by me, for some reason I just couldn't settle to one thing for long!
But anyway here is what I did manage!

This is out of JCS Ornament preview 2010, by Deborah Thorpe of Midsummer Nights designs
Called I love Reindeer......?? yes it is called that, he he!
I just decided I liked it better without the reindeer on it!
