April sun

What another lovely sunny day, May get some stitching done.
At the weekend I went to the Dalby Crafters monthly meet up, I haven't been since October and after a phone call with my friend Wendy, It was decided it was about time we returned. Since we last went they had changed venue, from the scout hut to the village hall, It is a bit smaller(The doors are tiny) but lots of bright natural light. It was a lovely day, I got lots done.

I did a design by Paper Panda

I also started a design by RowanDean I bought at Olympia Knitting and Stitching show.
It is called Echinacea "Paradiso"

I have also stitched on Winter Sampler By InkCircles, I will share a photo next time.

Thank you for stopping by

New addition to the household.

Meet Lily our new kitten,
I couldn't resist her!
She was found at the JCB plant and one of the employees brought her in to the Cat's Protection when she was approx 6 weeks old she was so tiny.
She is approx 12 weeks now and a little madam, we went to fetch her on Thursday. So far Tango has been okay with her, but Bella was hissing and growling at her at first, although she is getting used to her, she's not hissing or growling at all now, still wary of her though.
When she is playing with Tango she bounces round like Tigger.

But you want to see my stitching don't you, here is Winter Mandala so far.

I did also do an Ornie from the JCS Christmas Ornament mag, but it is for an exchage so can't show you just yet. There are a few I like out of the magazine, so hopefully I will have some to show you.

Ooo nearly forgot, postie delivered Woodland Enchantress today I asked Amanda if she still had it in stock, a while back but with my Mum being in hospital forgot to send payment. But she is here!

Howdy!

Well my Mum was taken back into Hospital Thursday, but she is home yet again And they have finally explained her condition to her, and hopefully she will stay out now.

But in between visiting my Mum I have managed to fit in two meet up's! The one last Saturday in Melton Mowbray ( If you are on my facebook you'll see photos)and the one today in Nuneaton. It is lovely to be able to sit and stitch with friends and both meet ups have cheered me up. And I have managed some stitching at both days. I did the rest of the black outline on Winter mandala last week, and started a Margaret Sherry piece. And today I finished the edging on a Hardanger piece for a Friend and did some colour on Winter Mandala. So I am happy. I will upload pics soon I promise just poke me if I don't!
Thanks for visiting (Hugs)

September already!

Umm kids go back to school next week, hooray! It hasn't been bad just I like having a little me time, maybe I will find my mojo, I mean it wasn't that long ago I stitched everynight, but I think a few comments I saw that other people had put on forums about people who have nothing better to do than stitch all day, it sort of affected me a little. I know I shouldn't worry about what others say, but it did. But instead I just sit and play on the PC all day which to be honest I would rather stitch. Sod the mardy gits.
I miss my stitching! :0(
Today would've been my Dad's birthday, even though he died 20 years ago, I still miss him terribly, and I hate that my kids never got to meet him.

But tomorrow is Dh's birthday he'll be 41,HAPPY BIRTHDAY ANDY not doing anything as he is at work as usual. I did mention that maybe in future years we make sure he has that day off( and my B'day) and we do something even if it's a picnic somewhere nice. We'll see!!!

Oops sorry I  did do some stitching over the last month a stitch here and there.
I put both pics up so you can see progress

I forgot to add( Thanks Heather) that the car boot went really well, raised about £90 for the Cats Protection, I think I will be doing another soon.

Oh dear where have I been, well I have managed a little bit of Stitching thanks to Helen coming round yesterday, although she has added to my pile but that's alright I like a challenge. LOL
Well here are some pics for you to see the evidence.
Lot #1
Lot #2
and there you go evidence I have stitched a little.

But what have I been doing instead, well I think this witness will show you she has tried to keep me on the straight and narrow.
The witness did state " I have tried to get her attention away from those noisy annoying games she is addicted to, so I had to resort to a sit down protest!

Another witness said well if she won't use her stash, I will as a BED!!!

Last but not least here is my one freesia that has bloomed, I had been given this pot yourself freesia kit for Mother's day and only one has flowered, it smells lovely
Well that's all folks...
well for now anyway, Thank you for stopping by and I will be blogreading soon, I hhope to catch up with you all.

Help!!

I have ran out of thread Anchor Cotton Rainbow no-1335 if anyone has 2 skeins or even one, would they be happy to exchange for another thread colour (if I have it) I have asked my usual online shop and they are out of stock and have been waiting 6 month for more of it!!
Thank you I have some it's way, Thank you to both Ladies I really do appreciate it ((Hugs))

So you have probably guessed that I am currently stitching and I am nearly done except I have ran out of that thread.

So today I was stitching on Winter Mandala today whilst I was at Bingo (During the Intervals) with my Mum, so I might have a progress picture for you later as I wanna work on it some more.

Are you enjoying the weather today in the UK? ...lovely isn't it!

I do hope to have some more pics soon when I have heard the person has received them.
I hope all you Mums are surviving the Easter Holidays!! It has been ok for me (so far)

I've been naughty...

I have had a new start!!
It's the Winter Mandala by Ink Circles, which was featured in the Jan/Feb issue of JCS mag. The Spring Mandala is in the next issue which I will be getting as well.

The colour is not brilliant in this picture.

I will be busy the next couple of weeks, my Mum has been given the keys to her Bungalow, and it needs redecorating all the way through, Luckily she still has her house to stay in whilst we do it for her.

I hope everyone is well and stitching lots!

Talk soon
