Off again...

Going to the seaside for a couple of days, although we nearly weren't as Bella has been poorly and has to wear a cone collar. But better to look after her than someone who works for the Cats protection centre, LOL My Sister is going to come and stay here and look after both cats as Bella needs anti biotics every day. I owe my sister bigtime!!
I really need this break away.

In a couple of weeks I will be doing a Carboot for the Cats Protection centre(Friends of Derby Shelter) all Proceeds going to them. Hopefully it'll be a nice day so they'll be plenty of buyers, anyone nearby wish to know date and whereit is just ask! I have also some Raffle ticket at 20p each if anyone is interested.Prize draw to held on 12th September at the Cats Protection adpotion centre Derby!

I have finally finished two late b'day gifts just have to find contents for them and I can send them out.

Thank you all for stopping by, hopefully I will have some stitching soon to show you.

I'm Back....

Had a wonderful time, I will definitely be going again, (didn't manage any stitching was too busy, and at night it was too dark.) Even with the kids being pains occasionally it was a fun experience. Luckily the site we were on had showers and toilets, and the owners were lovely couldn't do more for us, even asked if we needed anything when she was going into Matlock. I would recommend that site to anyone who wants to stay in Derbyshire. It's called The Pudding room campsite,(google it) and she bakes some lovely cakes and the shortbread is just wonderful...Yummy!! Plus it was a short walk away from Carsington Water so the kids could play on the park there. I didn't want to go to far away for my first trip, just in case!
But I will be happy to sleep in my own bed again!
I hope everyone else had a lovely weekend.

Off Camping...

this weekend, First time for me and my DD, although the boys have been with my sister before. We are going with them but in our own tent. As they have all the gear, eg cooking stove etc. It'll be an experience but I am looking forward to it, DH is staying home he doesn't want to come, but that's okay plenty to keep him busy at home. LOL I am gonna take a little stitching just in case. You never know!!
I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Hugs Rachael xx

Oh dear where have I been, well I have managed a little bit of Stitching thanks to Helen coming round yesterday, although she has added to my pile but that's alright I like a challenge. LOL
Well here are some pics for you to see the evidence.
Lot #1
Lot #2
and there you go evidence I have stitched a little.

But what have I been doing instead, well I think this witness will show you she has tried to keep me on the straight and narrow.
The witness did state " I have tried to get her attention away from those noisy annoying games she is addicted to, so I had to resort to a sit down protest!

Another witness said well if she won't use her stash, I will as a BED!!!

Last but not least here is my one freesia that has bloomed, I had been given this pot yourself freesia kit for Mother's day and only one has flowered, it smells lovely
Well that's all folks...
well for now anyway, Thank you for stopping by and I will be blogreading soon, I hhope to catch up with you all.

June already

Well not been up to much except, a tiny bit of stitching, I am trying to find my stitchy bug! I have been playing with fabric again, making more fabric bowls(I wish I could come up with a nice name for them) and also I have been making a back for Lace elegance so I can make it into a cushion, only...(sorry Hubby is just shouting at the England v USA  match) now where was I ...yes the cushion back I did it to size which was great, so I used the rest of the fabric for something else, only then I realised I hadn't put enough fabric on for the opening!!! AAarrrgghh!! So I am on the hunt tomorrow to see if I can find some similar fabric, as I got mine from Kisko.
Excuse my quilting skills, It looks pretty straight to me. LOL

Here is a peek at the colour scheme.

I will share with you another Fabric bowl that I made for Lucy this one is blue with cats on it.
